Home foreclosures?
James asked:
Hi. I am new to the home buying market. I have been searching for a home or a lot now for a few months and just recently I was told to search the foreclosures for a good deal. I live in Maine. Does anyone have any advice as to who i should talk to in my area about home foreclosures?
Thanks
James

yes, find a real estate licensee who
is a buyer’s agent, and ideally, an
exclusive buyer’s agent and tell the agent
you wish a home that is a foreclosure with
….a, b and c other criteria—whatever that might be for you.
Contact a realtor in your area. Our office deals with mostly foreclosures so I am sure there are offices there that do the same.
Foreclosures normally , are first sold on the country courthouse steps .
They post notices in the classifieds under Trustee Sales .
If no one buys there , the bank may then retain a Real Estate Agent to handle them .
Google Maine and Trustee Sales or Maine and REO
