I am selling a house 4 sale by owner.any suggestions or tips?

We sold our house “For Sale by Owner”…. there is nothing to it.
Make sure your house is clean at all times when potential Home Buyers make an appointment (inclusive closets!), show your house by Appointment only. Have appropriate lights on, use Air Freshener in all rooms, yard must be clean and grass cut, etc… you get the drift. If you have pets or children maybe your spouse can take them for a walk/drive at the time of showing so there will be no disruptions of any kind. If you advertise in your local Newspaper, Mortgage and Title Companies will contact you to assist you with the paper work. Good Luck.

Keep the house and grounds clean and uncluttered. Pre-qualify strangers before they come into your home. Have sales contracts ready.

It’s not easy seling a home. A lot of sellers sell by owner to save the comission. A lot of buyers buy by owner to save the commission. Who actually saves the commission? Both? If you haven’t done this before, you shoulod probably find an agent that has been active in your neighborhood. They will probably net you more than doing it yourself, and save you the worry of having strangers going through your home. It’s a dangerous world out there. Be careful.
