For Sale by Owner-Closing Costs?

I have a buyer for my home and need to hire a realtor to do the closing. What should I offer to pay them for their services? I don’t know how much work is involved and what is a fair price to pay?

I am not an expert in real estate but why not try an escrow company instead. I believe that they do all the paperwork such as title searches and filings. In some states a real estate lawyer is used. I think a real estate agent would be the last thing I would choose. Note that Realtor is a trade mark of an organization of real estate agents and all are not members.

real estate agents automatically get a fee, usually it’s 6%, then closing costs which include the fee for the escrow people. If you can I reccomend selling by owner with no realtors!!! There will be more money for both parties.

You don’t need a REALTOR in this instance, you need a closing attorney. They charge <$500 give or take. There will be other costs, the atttorney’s office can explain them to you.

use a realestate lawyer.stay away from the agent.you have already done their job.

ask your bank or credit union and see if they can help or answer your question
